5.5 miles west of Mt. Pleasant on West M-20 (2445 W. Remus Rd) on south side of the road. Watch for sign 500 feet before the entrance. Parking sticker may be required in season. 7.5 miles of scenic, fast and easy trails. Ideal for novice riders.

From Mt. Pleasant, go east on East M-20 to Midland County. Turn left (north) on 9-Mile road until dead end at Saginaw Road. Turn right (east) on Saginaw for approximately 2 miles and angle left at Irish Rd. When you come to a stop sign turn left (north) on W. River Rd. 1/2 mile to Maynard Road (look for Pine Haven Recreation sign)., turn left (west) and go to the end of the road to the parking lot.

From US-10, go to the Village of Sanford and south at W. River Road exit. Turn right on Maynard (first right) and go to the end of the road to parking lot.
Beginning to advanced riders. 8.5 miles of official trail with 15 miles of advanced trails on adjoining State land. Caution should be used during hunting season on State land.

Located that the Gratiot County Fairgrounds. From US-27 go to downtown Ithaca (Center St.) and head west to South River Rd. Turn left (south) and follow the signs to the fairgrounds. Novice to intermediate trail. Mostly flat, tight trail requires technical handling skills. Popular site for mountain bike racing.

Access the trail from numerous points along US-10 corridor between Clare and Midland. In Midland, the trail head starts downtown at the Tridge (three legged walking bridge spanning two rivers). 31 mile flat Rail-to-Trail from Midland to Clare. 12-14' asphalt path for recreational biking and in-line skating.
