Our Staff
Ginger, our loyal mascot, has been a member of the staff since 1992. Her duties include greeting customers and getting her head scratched. She also helps carry things back from the Ace Hardware store across the street.
Terry Quast has owned Motorless Motion since 1976. A graduate of CMU with a BS in Accounting—he was hired by CMU in 1974 as Administrative Assistant to the Controller, and in 1975 became the manager of Accounts Payable.
Not only is Motorless Motion the name of his store, but he considers it a way of life, driving automobiles only when necessary—on the average, once a week. Over the years he was a Cat 3 road racer, a PSIA Associate Nordic Ski Instructor, a National Ski Patrol Nordic Patroller, SSI Advanced Scuba Diver, and an ACA Advanced Open Boat whitewater canoeist. In 1985 he began a 10 year career as an EMT, then Paramedic, and finally an Instructor/Coordinator with certifications in ACLS, PALS, BTLS and ATLS, among others. Now he spends most of his spare time working with Macintosh computers doing consulting work.
